Saegewerk in Eckental

Ordered food to pick up today. Sorry, but it was really a disaster. Bruscetta was some kind of tomato paste out of the jar, nothing fresh, no fresh onions or garlic, and it smelled like some kind of rotten food, thrown away immediately after a bite. The fries tasted as if they had been prepared in the deep fryer a few hours ago and simply warmed up again in the deep fryer with our order, not good at all. The tomato-mozzarella baguette was also terrible, had ordered it without sauce, because I'm pregnant, the lady on the phone said that there was still butter on it, which is okay in itself, but the butter was rancid and the baguette was COMPLETELY soaked ( we don't even live 10 minutes away from the sawmill). The vegetarian burger was okay, but also with the old fries. The only thing that was good was the small side salad. Conclusion, we could have saved dinner, a frozen pizza would have been better ... the one star only because I couldn't post anything else. We definitely don't get anything anymore: - /

The food in the Eschenau sawmill is always really delicious. That's the only reason to go there again, because you don't really feel comfortable because of the service. Very unfriendly, very inattentive and just plain slow. The 3 stars are only available for the kitchen behind the scenes. Dear sawmill Eschenau: Praise to your kitchen, but please think about new service staff so that you can come back with pleasure and recommend with a clear conscience!

I had to wait for my food forever. Definitely three quarters of an hour and just as long on the bill. It tasted good, but the wait was really annoying.

The food was very good. Unfortunately, after the meal we were written off as customers and were no longer asked if we wanted to drink something (very bad male waitresses).

Always good. Burgers, cordon bleu, pizza standards are great.

We waited over an hour for the food (schnitzel and tuna baguette). And the waiter always looked in a different direction and then quickly disappeared again and again. Nobody asks if you want anything else. You have to go to the staff personally and order something. You don't have to do it again.

In itself I think the food and everything is very good. Unfortunately only received a negative experience today. We waited almost 1 1/2 hours for our food, even though it was an hour before delivery. If we hadn't called again we would have had no information as to whether our food is already on the way. However, I would still go there again, just because of the long waiting time 1 star deduction.

We waited for the food for over an hour. Pizza and salad with fries, that should be quick. Not recommended if you are hungry and do not have to wait all day.

This was my first visit to the Sägewerk and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable. I give my deepest respect to the two ladies working there this evening. Not only were they very courteous, but firm in enforcing hygiene rules. My Wife and I will definitely be making a return visit in the near future.

Best Burger in Eckental. Casual, you can play Billiard and sometimes they have events like live music or big screen sports

Good food and service

Good place to enjoy yourself a drink or two. Nice pool table and friendly staff. Haven't tried food yet!
